Sober since October 1984, Katie is a member of the Primary Purpose Group in Austin, Texas where every week they study the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous line by line. As she says, “It’s a lot more fun than it sounds!” A great teacher of the programme and always willing to share her current experience with the Steps, Katie brings authenticity, humour and practical tips to her talks. Established in 2017, the New Zealand Speaker Rally is a powerful weekend-long event where guest speakers from around the world and right here in Aotearoa, share how their lives have transformed as the result of the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Based on the Woodstock format developed by Bob D in Las Vegas, speakers will take us on a journey through the Steps and cover special topics over ten one-hour sessions.
